Customer Reviews
It is a shame that this great film collection received so many bad reviews from buyers who were apparently not able to figure out its actual content. The first volume of the Greatest Ever... Costume Dramas includes the films Elizabeth, A Room With a View, Sense and Sensibility, The Age of Innocence, and Remains of the Day. In my opinion, the title Greatest Ever proves quite worthy if one considers the quality of these films (only the inclusion of Dangerous Liaisons would have made this collection the Most Greatest Ever). Some details about the technical aspects:
Elizabeth:
Audio: Engish, German
Subtitles: English, Dutch, German
Extras: Making Of (11 min), Interviews (7 min), Behind the Scenes (6 min)
A Room With a View:
Audio: English

Sense and Sensibilty:
Audio: English
Subtitles: English, Italian, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Hebrew, Cantonese
Extras: Trailer
The Age of Innocence:
Audio: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish
Subtitles: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (and loads of other languages)
Extras: Trailer, Cast ; Crew filmographies
The Remains of the Day:
Audio: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish
Subtitles: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (and so on...)
Extras: Commentary with director, producer and Emma Thompson, Making Of (28 min), Film Documentary (15 min), Exclusive Documentary (30 min), Deleted Scenes, Filmographies, Trailer
Regardless of whether The Remains of the Day is a good film, I don't think it's acceptable that you do not get the films stated in the product description. I'm really gutted I wasted my money on this as 2 of the 5 films I bought the collection for ('Shakespeare in Love' and 'Pride and Prejudice') were missing I'm annoyed I didn't read the reviews before I bought..this was a complete disapointment :(
